Delivering Excellence: Setting New Standards in Healthcare at Wyvern Private Hospital
Wyvern Private Hospital, located in a pristine bushland setting in Terrey Hills, Sydney, is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility dedicated to providing exceptional medical care with a focus on patient comfort and safety. The hospital’s recent $98 million expansion and renovation project aimed to enhance its services by incorporating advanced medical technology and high-quality infrastructure featuring 84 beds, seven operating theatres, a cardiac catheterisation laboratory, and associated clinical support units including radiology, pathology, hydrotherapy, and a pharmacy.
In collaboration with McPherson pluming Galvin Engineering played a crucial role in equipping Wyvern Private Hospital with high-quality tapware and sanitaryware solutions tailored to the specific needs of Wyvern Private Hospital ensuring improved hygiene, safety, reliability and compliance.
The project scope included:
- Medical Tapware: Installation of Galvin’s specialised tapware, designed for healthcare environments. These taps feature easy-to-use, lever-operated mechanisms, are manufactured to minimise the risk of bacterial growth and assist patients and staff in daily use.
- Laboratory Tapware: Specialised tapware for the hospital’s laboratories, ensuring precise control and reliability critical for medical testing and research.
- Sanitaryware: Durable and hygienic solutions for patient bathrooms and public washrooms, designed to be accessible, easy to clean and maintain.
