Specification Data Sheet

Our Australian Made Galvin CliniMix® range of thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), powered by RMC Reliance Valves, is designed to protect the most vulnerable from scalding or cold water shock by providing tempered water to the desired outlets that comply with the relevant Australian Standards.

Suitable for health and general applications.

Features

  • Manufactured using Lead Safe™ DZR Brass with less than 0.25% lead content*
  • Thermal flush activation incorporated within headworks for superior flush capabilities
  • In the event of either hot or cold water supply failure the valve will shut down, quickly restoring flow when normal conditions resume.
  • Water temperature is established at plus or minus 2 degrees even during water pressure or temperature fluctuations.
  • Suitable for installation in low-pressure systems and will operate with working pressure as low as 20kPA.
  • Can be installed in any configuration with water outlet in horizontal or vertical position, and inlet connections can be rotated to suit inlet pipework.
  • Easy in-situ servicing with body O'ring on the removal cartridge
  • Lockable stainless steel hinged cabinet kit with 20mm copper fittings allowing for secure installation and safe, simple maintenance of thermostatic mixing valve
  • Units complete with right angle isolating ball valve, non-return valve and strainer assemblies
  • Available with hot and cold thermal flush kit - not just hot side
  • Flat-faced connections allow removal of the valve without disturbing the pipework
  • Compact design to fit into stud work

Note:  Components in contact with water are identical as in 201.10.70.10 and are certified to WMKA 1593. The only difference in this item is the cabinet design.

1) AS 4032.1: approved adjustment range 38 - 50°C
2) For optimal performance it is recommended that the hot and cold water supply pressures be balanced to within +10%. Excessive variation in supply pressures may cause changes in outlet temperature.
Notwithstanding the above, compliance with AS3500 must be maintained
